Permissions are an important part of healthy team collaboration. With the right set of permissions, you can ensure that only certain members are permitted to change the information in your models.
Each OnPlan collaborator has a permission level or role that determines what they can and cannot edit in the models to which they have access. The permission levels are set initially when the collaborator is invited. The permission levels or the specific roles are as follows:
-
OWNER_COMPANY
-
CREATOR
-
CONTRIBUTOR
-
COMMENTER
-
READ_ONLY
OWNER_COMPANY
If you are a company owner, you can make any and all modifications to the models to which you have access and you can add new users to Onplan.
CREATOR
If you are a creator, you can make any and all modifications to the models to which you have access.
CONTRIBUTOR
If you are a contributor, you can only add, delete, and modify the rows and views, and add comments on the rows.
COMMENTER
If you are a commenter, you can only view and comment on rows in the models to which you have access.
READ_ONLY
In the read-only permission role, you can only view the models to which you have access.
